As a Landscape Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving new business development and creating long-term growth strategies to target new markets and opportunities. You will work closely with our team to present business and product offerings to prospects, and close new business and customers. Requirements:

  • 3+ years of new business development experience
  • 3+ years of residential landscape sales
  • Highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who is self-driven
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
  • Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong presentation skills
  • Strong knowledge of internet search technologies and ability to identify decision-makers and source prospects
  • Experience overseeing daily business operations, creating and refining processes for high-growth companies
  • Familiarity with CRM program and estimating software
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business landscape, with proven problem-solving abilities
  • Strong plant identification and turf knowledge
  • Clean RMV driving record, and valid drivers license.
  • Authorized to work full-time in the US
  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet both seasonal demands and deadlines

Bonus Points:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Ag business, Horticulture, Ag science, Landscape Maintenance, Agronomy, Floriculture, Forestry, Plant and Soil Science, Environmental Design, Turf Grass or Landscape Architecture
  • MCLP and MCH certifications
  • Knowledge of Service Autopilot CRM
  • Local knowledge and contacts in one or more market segments preferred
  • Working experience with social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing residential customers, offering expert advice and guidance on large construction landscape projects and small maintenance work.
  • Build and train a high-performing production team, ensuring that projects are completed on time and in accordance with safety, quality, and profitability standards. Manage and motivate maintenance crews.
  • Manage production for our services, maintaining accurate schedules and job notes to ensure seamless delivery of services that meet customer expectations.
  • Regularly visit job sites to direct work, identify teachable moments with crews, and ensure customer satisfaction. Address and resolve customer concerns by developing solutions.
  • Direct job site activities, including coordinating workflow, hands-on work, and operating equipment. Train and develop all field employees. Ensure safety for employees, customers, and the general public.
  • Sell enhancement services to improve site conditions and coordinate with other divisions to ensure successful completion of enhancement work on budget and on time.
  • Master company-wide software (Service Autopilot) to create work tickets, estimates, and schedules for crews.
  • Identify and present business and marketing opportunities to company management. Research emerging trends and recommend new company offerings to satisfy customer needs.
  • Act as a liaison between customers, clients, and the company to ensure timely collections if needed.
  • Promote the Harris name, brand, and culture with honesty, integrity, and ethical behavior.
  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow the business.
